MAD, November 14: Favourite episode: The Snowmen
My favorite episode of DoctorWho is the first episode I ever saw; ‘The Snowmen’. Thanks to this episonde I have gotten to know the whoverse, and my life is changing.I immediately fell in love with Vastra and Jenny. I remember my first thought was “the heroines are a married interspecies lesbian couple?! I alredy love this!” then I discovered a new world, a new way of thinking. In that episode I found everything I love: there is a mystery to be solved, a tough enemy even for a great detective like Vastra, there is Clara and her mystery… she is after all the impossible girl, it starts with a lost depressed man who does not believe in anything and ends up with him blossoming into a lighthearted freespirited man who can’t help but make you smile with his quirks and his bowties. Last but not least there is Strax and his jokes which never fail to make me laugh.I love this episode from the first line down to the last, and I could watch it a hundred times and never get tired of it.To sum it all up there’s mistery, a married couple of interspicies lesbians, victorian England and Christmas… what more could you want?
